Amendment — Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023
BNS, BNSS & BSA — New Criminal Laws (2024)
The Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (BNS), Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (BNSS), and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023 (BSA) replaced the Indian Penal Code, CrPC, and Indian Evidence Act respectively from 1 July 2024. All criminal matters filed from that date are governed by the new laws. Practice at the firm extends to matters under both the new Sanhitas and the transitional provisions applicable to cases filed before 1 July 2024.

Under the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987, free legal aid is available to persons from economically weaker sections, women, children, SC/ST persons, victims of trafficking, and persons with disabilities.
